can't receive text says it's a landline
I cannot receive any text messages. When someone sends me a message, they get a response that my 3jam number is a landline. They are sending from verizon. My phone calls get forwarded to my cell phone just fine, but text messages are blocked.

Thanks for your inquiry.
SMS service is usually enabled by our carrier within 24-48 hours of your number being ported over to 3jam. However, it looks from your number port date that we are past the 48 hour mark so we are opening a trouble ticket to fix your issue.

No problem. How is the sender sending you a message and how is the sender being notified that your number is a landline? Does an error message pop up on his/her mobile phone?
By the way, when we port-in landline numbers, we SMS-enable them so that they will be able to receive SMS messages from mobile phones.
