Inappropriate?As has been posted at the Apple app store, the current version available at the app store does not operate properly with Apple's September 12, 2008 release of the 2.1 iPhone upgrade. The problem has been fixed and uploaded to Apple. However, it will take several days before it is available at the app store. We are working with Apple to make it available as fast as possible.
Note, the current version of the Voice Dialer works fine provided you have not upgraded your phone to 2.1. If you are a current user of the Voice Dialer and want it to continue to operate, we suggest you delay upgrading to 2.1 until the new release of the Voice Dialer is available at the app store (again, in a few days).
Anyone who has purchased the Voice Dialer will receive the upgrade for free.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this situation.

I've upgraded to 2.1 - just downloaded voice dialer - it won't dial and the error message is "cannot find contact" - the contact is in my contact list - I'm frustrated and wouldn't have paid for this app.... -
PSRVA, I apologize for this inconvenience. We have been working hard with Apple to get the new release to be approved in the AppStore. Our engineers uploaded it to Apple on Saturday (the day after the 2.1 release for iPhone went live) but Apple has a review cycle that is delaying things. I will keep you posted as to when the new version is available (it has more features too!). Hopefully in the next few days. (You will receive upgrade for free).

The new Voice DIaler that works with Apple's iPhone 2.1 software is now available at the AppStore. Simply re-download the application and it should work fine for you. There is no charge for this release (if you are a current user). We appreciate everybody's patience on this one.

The version that was free was our beta test version. The new version that will become available in the coming days is version 1.5. It has several new features including a more flexible understanding of your spoken words, 3 - 4x performance improvement for users with lots of contacts, and 24 hour autocorrection feedback (if it gets a contact wrong, tap a button and our system will learn to do better the next time).
Users will have to pay for this upgrade ($4.99). -

RH, we have uploaded the new application to Apple and have been trying to get their support people to accelerate its availability on the App Store. Normally, this has taken about seven days or so. However, we are trying our best to shorten that time frame.

SImply go to the AppStore using your iPhone, and click the purchase button as you did when you first bought it. You will be notified that the upgrade is free because you have installed a previous version of it. Thanks for your patience!

Inappropriate?I continue to have the problem after the latest update exactly as described. Stuck learning contacts perpetually. I am on exchange with around 1400+ contacts.

Unfortunately, it takes Apple several days to make an application available at the app store after the developer has uploaded it. The problem you are having is fixed, but it will take 5 to 10 business days before Apple will make the fixed version available to the public. When they do, you will be able to get it for free, and it will solve this issue. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Inappropriate?I still do not have anything but endless contact searching. I have uninstalled and reinstalled app, etc. I have exchange server with 1500 or so contacts. Unless there is another update coming, it is a total fail for me right now.

Inappropriate?ipcray, good news. Apple just approved the new version of Voice Dialer. It should now work properly with your exchange-sync'ed contacts. Please let us know if you still have any problems.
Simply go to the app store and re-download the app.

Inappropriate?I would like to confirm that this newly available version has had 100% recognition and earned auto-dial on status. I have 1500 exchange contacts give or take. Just slightly slower searching than MS Voice Command. My rating will be 5 stars.

As the developer of this program, it means a lot to us when we know our customers enjoy the product and it is working well for them. Speach recognition is not an easy problem to solve, and we will continue to invest in adding features to the product. The next release (later this month) will be faster on startup and has some other goodies too! (free upgrade). Thanks again for your patience.

Inappropriate?I 've just re-installed the vMail again with no success!! I still gets and error message when I want to start the App saying : unable to contact AdelaVoice service ! I'm using the Iphone 3G, I need your help please

We have extensively checked the server operation on our end, and all seems to be OK. vMail xpress does work well on the Edge network as well as 3G. However, a solid connection is required to send a vMail. My guess is that, at the time you get the can't connect message, you are not solidly connected to the Internet. A way to check this is to see if you can navigate to www.adelavoice.com using the safari browser. Please let me know if you cannot seem to connect regardless of connectivity. We will then try a more targeted strategy to determine the problem using support@adelavoice.com.

Inappropriate?Hello... I bought the voice dialer from the App store...it didn't work on my iPhone 3G with the current version of everything. But the phone was doing strange things and could have been responsible.
I got a new phone but iTunes will not sync the app. Can you suggest what to do?

Follow up... I found the problem...the computer didn't think it was authorized so I authorized it, and it let me know that it was already authorized...but then it allowed me to sync.
Problem solved...
