I heard about this through net@night with leo laporte, a guy i trust who gave this great praise. It sounds like the kind of game that could be truly world changing and i'd really like to get started.
Unfortunately, everything i've read so far relates to North America. However, I live in Australia. If I buy a deck of cards, can i play?

Inappropriate?Andy, we actually have quite a few players in Australia, and we're certainly trying to make the game as easy to play, anywhere in the world. Akoha is definitely showing a healthy growth 'down under', and we'd love to have you play it forward there as well :)
