How can I delete an iPhone calendar?
My iPhone somehow has two calendars, possibly as a result of syncing with Outlook. How can I delete one of them?

Inappropriate?Go into iTunes, and check/uncheck which calendars you want to sync to ur iPhone. It should be in the tabs when you plug it in.
I’m happy

Inappropriate? When you have two or more calendars on the iPhone (I used the 3G), you may have two calendars in your Outlook (I use 2003). I did (2), and I deleted the extra calendar from Outlook, from the folders column, by right clicking on the unwanted one and left clicking on delete, then followed the instructions for deletion. Then I set iTunes up to sync "All Calendars" (2 were listed from previous syncs that detected two calendars in Outlook), left both unchecked, did not use the option to select which calendar to sync), then hit Sync. That eliminated the unwanted calendar from the iPhone, and properly synced the calendar and iPhone. Jim Newell

Inappropriate? How can you select calendars that are not made through syncronization?
NemusSync created local versions of my google calendars which are nothing more than dead weight. they don't sync. they don't appear in any list anywhere except on the iphone itself.
i'm going to try editing the sqlite.db.... -
Inappropriate?UPDATE
If you have a Jailbroken Iphone:
Copy /private/var/mobile/Library/Calendar/Calendar.sqlitedb to your computer.
Edit it with "sqlitebrowser". http://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlit...
Click "Browse Data"
Select "Calendar" from the drop down menu.
Select a calender you don't want (click any field in it's row) and hit "Delete Record".
Save the database.
Copy it back to the iphone.
JUST TO BE SURE:
Leave "Default" and "Calendar"
Check carefully if you have any synced calendars from google.
NemusSync's calendars look just like the CalDAV google calendar, except they lack a URL under the "external_id" field.
I have no idea about calendars from iCal, Mozilla, or Outlook.
One way to check which calendars you should keep is to open the "Event" table from the drop-down menu and check which "calendar_id" the events you want have. This should match the "ROWID" in the "Calendar" table.
You can also do some awesome calendar editing this way, or annihilate your calendar altogether. :)
I’m mildly perturbed.

Inappropriate? Thanks so much for that detailed explanation of editing the calendar.db. It worked great! I can't believe that issue has not been addressed

Inappropriate?I ended up doing this in a way similar to Que Quotion above, but using Python on the iphone itself.

Inappropriate?I searched for a while and found the answer posted somewhere but not as detailed so I added the steps.
1. If you use Windows, you can setup a new e-mail profile by going to control panel -> E-mail. Set it to be used as default always.
2. Open Outlook and let it start the first time. That will open a blank calendar.
3. I then went into iTunes and set the calendars to sync and selected all calendars.
4. I scrolled down on the info tab in iTunes to the 'Advanced Tab' and 'Replace information on this iPhone' and checked 'calendars'.
5. Finally click the sync button
This removed everything and just left one blank calendar on my phone. It removed the 2 which were put on it originally that I did not want.
Hope this helps. I thought I was hosed as hacking my iPhone did not seem like a feasible option at this point.
