iPhone not syncing podcasts, running back-up every time I connect to iTunes
Since upgrading to iPhone 2.0 and iTunes 7.7, my iPhone doesn't sync any iPod files (music, podcasts) and runs the back-up routine every time I plug it in. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Inappropriate?I don't know about the file problems, but I know if you uncheck Automatic Syncing it will not make a back up of your phone every time you plug it in.

Inappropriate?Well .. I would double check your iTunes settings. If they are good and it should be automatically syncing .. then try manual and see if you can grab the podcasts that you want. If this does not work. Time to go to the Apple Store for some genius bar help. -
Inappropriate?The long backup issue is generally reported (and confirmed by me) is fixed in 2.1. Check your Settings for the device and make sure it's set to sync (make sure it's not set for manual syncing, make sure under "Podcasts" and "Music" tabs you have syncing enabled.
