Avatar image doesn't update to new one uploaded to Twitter
When I update my twitter avatar, Tweetie still displays my old one. It also displays the old avatars of users I follow who have changed the images.

one of two things is happening here.
the user has an obscenely large filesized avatar (due to a Twitter bug)
or
twitter could not serve the image 100% -
Inappropriate?I'm not sure that this is a 72 hr cache issue. Same thing happens to me. My image is a transparent PNG file.

Inappropriate?The best hack to force a reload of avatars is to reinstall the app.

Inappropriate?Reinstalling the app doesn't work for me and despite what the company thinks, this is a problem. No other Twitter app that I've used (EventBox, Shrinx, etc.) has this issue. I appreciate atebits trying to keep Tweetie fast but I'd rather have avatars.

Inappropriate?this isn't a problem. although, sometimes; avatars don't show up in desktop tweetie. but, i believe that's an issue with the twitter api. -
