Option to update facebook status via iPhone Tweetie
Have you considered giving the option to update your facebook status via Tweetie for iPhone. I realise there is a Twitter sync on facebook, but I would like the choice of updating facebook and Twitter, or just Twitter. Thanks for your time, I love your iPhone app :-)

Just use Selective Twitter Staus Facebook app: http://apps.facebook.com/selectivetwi...
add a #fb hashtag to the end of the tweet and it updates your facebook status just for that tweet,

Inappropriate?Personally, I don't think this is a good idea. Tweetie should really stick to Twitter. You can use Tweetie's Ping.fm support for updating as well, but honestly, it's gotta stick to Twitter IMHO.
I requested Identi.ca support in the past, as it seemed as simple as changing the API URL, but atebit's right in saying it will screw up image hosting, amongst other things and may simply be too much work, more than needed.
I love open source, freedom, all that good stuff, and would LOVE true Laconica support, but I honestly would rather see a Twitter client stick to Twitter. I realize that's rather unrelated, but I just wanted to back up how I can manage, too.
As simply as it may be to update Facebook's status, I would just like to say I don't think Tweetie should veer from Twitter too much.

Inappropriate?I would love to see the ability to update Facebook posts. That's the direction most desktop clients are going and I don't see why I should have the same ability to update both from an iPhone app. I think it should definitely not be enabled by default and only accessible from the settings screen. It could easily be added to the Integration menu.
One thing is you should be able choose to update Twitter or Twitter+Facebook for each post. It would suck to have to go all the way to settings to specify whether each tweet should also go to Facebook. -
