my iphone is gorgeous but won't hold a call!
i know everyone knows how bad the iphone reception is (AT&T) but it's gotten so bad my phone wouldn't hold a call AT ALL this morning. i am hating this phone.

Inappropriate?has this progressively been getting worse? do you have the iPhone 3G or 2G?

Inappropriate?I don't think the problem is with the phone, it's with AT&T. Here in Chicago I have sporadic 3G coverage on my iPhone - even downtown in the business district; however, when I was in New Orleans last week my iPhone had solid 5-bar 3G service the entire time both inside and out. The iPhone might have a little weaker signal than some other phones, but New Orleans is proof that if the 3G coverage is done right by AT&T the iPhone can be a great phone.
I’m learning to live with it.
