I can't connect my OpenID with my BackType account.
Hmm, for some reason I can't merge my OpenID with my BackType account. Steps to re-produce:
- Visit http://backtype.com/login
- Fill in the OpenID field with your OpenID. I used 'chris24.ca.'
- Authenticate with your OpenID provider. I use myopenid.com as my provider.
- Click "I already have an account" (while on the clickpass page).
- Enter a valid BackType username & password.
- Receive "Couldn't connect to your account - please check username and password." error. (I've confirmed that my user & pass are correct by logging into the BackType site successfully with the same credentials)
P.S. Congrats on launching the new design. It looks great!

Inappropriate?Should this be reported here or to clickpass? Seeing as how almost three weeks after the problem is reported no one has responded and this is apparently a server side issue that we can't fix ourselves?

Inappropriate?Me Too. At the end of the process, I can't login with either my userid or email address. Curiously following the same process with Facebook worked and at the same end point, Clickpass worked with my BackType ID+Password
