Blogo is not working in Snow Leopard
Blogo does not work in snow leopard. It crashes almost instantly after starting. Sometimes I cant even finish writing my blog URL before it crashes. Hope this can be solved soon.

We have updated the main link with the new beta to avoid crashes with SL users downloading for the first time.
Up until now we have had no reports of 10.6-specific bugs.

With version 1.2.9 the app icon bounces a few times in the dock and then disappears. Is there another version? -
Inappropriate?Unfortunately this has proved quite difficult. Apparently Growl has issues on SL which is complicating it.
We'll update this thread as soon as it's ready. -
Inappropriate?love the blogo app. know you guys will get it workin soon, cant wait for the update. mine crashes on load everytime, can't even use it :(
-
Inappropriate? We're close! Hold tight for a beta link soon.
-
Inappropriate? Will you be sending out an email update for we customers? Also, I thought Apple's installer quarantined apps that didn't function.

Inappropriate? We will update this thread and email everyone who has gotten in touch with us about it.

Inappropriate?Thanks Brainjuice!

Inappropriate? Please let me know too, my husband just updated us last night and same problem, very frustrating!! Do you have any idea how long soon is?
I’m anxious

Inappropriate?I'm also awaiting a solution. I found out about this app a few weeks ago but have been running Snow Leopard and can't try it out :(
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Any ETA on this? Just purchased Blogo a couple of months ago and it's frustrating to suddenly not be able to use it. Didn't these problem show up in testing - developers have had SL for some time now....??
I’m disappointed
-
Inappropriate? We've fixed the startup crash and the app seems to be working normally. You can download the new version from the usual beta link.
Please note that this is still a beta! The main things affected by the new version were Undo/Redo, so you may notice some instability in the editor. We need your help to iron out any remaining problems. You can post any and all bugs to this thread and all SL-related issues will be our top priority until it is stable. -
Inappropriate? Thanks for the update - seems to be working great. Hopefully Growl will update their software so we can again use that.
I’m happy!
-
Inappropriate?Although I'm just getting this for the first time on the free trial, I can also confirm it's working correctly under Snow Leopard.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?I've tried posting via Ping.fm, blogger, and wordpress on 10.6 Snow Leopard with the beta. Have not encountered any problems. The beta build seems to have fixed the issues.
Great job, dev team!
I’m satisfied

Inappropriate?Am stunned with how great Snow Leopard is and how few of my mission-critical apps are having problems.
Was pleased to see you guys jumped on this problem so I downloaded the beta this weekend and it worked great. Then I started working on a post this morning (I post four times per week for a major K-12 publisher and rely on Blogo since Typepad's new version hiccuped twice and I lost a ton of work).
Everything was fine for the first hour and then I embedded a Slideshare slide presentation and it took a loooong time to save locally. After it saved I decided to preview my post and Blogo crashed...so hard that I was unable to send you guys a bug report (Note: I've always had crashing issues as the preview function seemed to always struggle with parsing Flash, would work fine once or twice, but then would crash down to the bare metal).
I've trashed all traces of Blogo and reinstalled but it's still not working. -
Inappropriate? We've just updated the same link with a new version which fixes crashes for users who had Markdown selected as their text filter.

Inappropriate?Steve, can you email your Blogo crash logs (located in Library/Logs/Crash Reporter) to support at drinkbrainjuice dot com?
-
Inappropriate? My registration is not working. It tell me this registration was registered to a different mac. I need to transfer the license to snow leopard please. I/m to publish a review soon on blogo. This has set me back several days.
-
Inappropriate?Michael: I've reset your license. You should be able to use the app now.
-
I have it now. LOL! Thank you very much. I will be in touch soon. -
Inappropriate?Tom: Can you open up /Applications/Utilities/Console.app and email the output from Blogo to support at drinkbrainjuice dot com?
-
Inappropriate?Just sent it. Thanks.

Inappropriate?I am running a dev seed of snow leopard on my mac currently. I tried to test out Blogo on it a while back but obviously ran into the crashing problem so decided to wait until you had released an update. Now when I try to install and run the updated version it can see that I had tried to run it in the past and tells me that my trial period is up, even though I have not been able to use it yet. Is there any way that I can remove the files that it is checking to reset my trial? Or could your next version maybe reset the trial info one time when it is started on snow leopard if you don't want to give away the secrets of where that info is hidden.
Thanks.
I’m a little bit sad inside
