Britekite does not seem to be finding me on Android, I Dl app update a day ago, and have rebooted,, Lattitude finds me fine on same phone Britekite seems to be a no go

In facebook there is a "Current Location" Field

Is it possible for brightkite to update this when checking in.. similar to what it does for Twitter

Is there anyway that I can have Brightkite post a larger image as a Facebook story rather than the tiny version? Also since Facebook already offers enough privacy controls BK's become redundant. I'd like the option to allow my FB friends to automatically see the amount of detail that my BK friends can. It is critical for BK updates to look better and be more digestible in FB and Twitter since for most this is the primary way that our friends and contacts will see them. BK, take down the BK wall and help us share our info with friends using more ubiquitous services!

Whenever I post to Brightkite, my Facebook feed gets multiple postings. Perhaps I've done something wrong, but is there any way to prevent this?

I currently have my Facebook settings set to "none" and yet it is still posting in triplicate.

Ideally, BK would only post the middle Facebook status pictured here -

Is it something that I've set up incorrectly?

I also post to Twitter, which subsequently gets sucked into Facebook, but that's another issue entirely.

BTW, my username is stewtopia on BK.

One little feature I would go crazy for: Selective cross-posting (ESPECIALLY on the iPhone app). There should be an easy way to toggle whether or not you want an update to be posted to twitter/facebook when updating. Not all of my Brightkite updates are meant to be Twittered of Facebooked, but having to go to the settings and disable cross posting is kind of lame.

Hi there - I'm loving the Flickr integration when posting photos; it might just end up becoming the only method I use to upload photos from my iPhone - so easy!
Only thing that's stopping me is the fact that BrightKite eats the metadata on the way to Flickr :( It keeps the location/geolocation metadata, but more cool stuff, like date/time taken, and the camera model (iPhone) disappears! could you possibly fix this sometime soon? :)

I'm tired of the constant downtime and am ready to leave Twitter. I don't want to have to visit the brightkite website to input updates (or constantly do them on my phone). Do you have a desktop app?

Can I use Brightkite to update a facebook fanpage? The fanpage admin visits local businesses each week and updates via twitter to the fanpage. Brightkite would help tremendously!

Android app won't allow me to login

I downloaded the Brightkite App for Android on my T-Mobile G1. I tried to login with my existing credentials but the app just "hangs" during the login. I tried uninstalling and re-downloading the app but same thing still happens. I know I supplied the right user ID and password.

Some of you have probably already noticed this change if you have visited your Account Settings recently:

Due to some abuse of this feature, we have been forced to temporarily disable international SMS notifications until 1)we can put some safeguards in place on our end, and 2)we can switch to a more reliable provider. We don't have an estimate yet on how long this will take.

It is important to note that you still can check in, search businesses, DM, and post via SMS. It's only notifications that have been disabled.

We're sorry for the inconvenience, notifications will be back soon.

I have a blog which imports my pictures from Brightkite from the rss-feed sent by phone via email. The title in my blog is always the same: 'smooke posted a picture @oslo'. I would like that my title in the email, became title in the posting and therefore title in my blog. Can you fix? Or show me how to do it myself?
