Recently active topics in Brightkite about iphone web application

I just spent a week using BrightKite while entirely mobile via a combination of the iPhone app and SMS messages. It became apparent that when friends comment on my posts, it is almost impossible to respond to them in the app.

My workflow was as follows:
1. Post a photo or note at a place from the iPhone app
2. Receive an SMS message indicating a friend commented on my post (from 1 min to one hour later)
3. Attempt to respond to the comment but am unable to easily find my post due to my stream being filled with posts from others, etc.

This used to be mitigated by clicking the link from the SMS message which opened the bkite app and displayed the post (no longer working). Now I either have to open the webapp (which I'm usually not logged into) or find my desktop to get to my thread.

There really ought to be a way to respond to comments more easily, I can think of a few ways to do this:
1. Fix the link in the SMS message to show the comment in the app when clicking the link
2. Make it possible to see only my personal posts in the app
3. Allow me to make a comment via SMS (similar to when I get a direct message)

Hope this helps, I think making it easier to have a conversation around posts would do a lot to improve the community feeling!

Trying to register my mobile isn't working (not getting confirmation), and I've used this phone with BK before. I don't think it's a reception problem since I've received other text messages this morning at the same location.

Okay. I created an account: user name: ericcc, email: meeks.eric@gmail.com

During one my of my sign ins, i saw the "connect with facebook" option.. so i clicked that. It signed me in with no problem. Then i decided I'd change my user name to "Milo5tylo". At this point, I can sign in on the internet via computer, via my iPhone app, and my iphone web. No problems so far.

What i didn't realize was that, I actually had 2 accounts. The one attached to my phone was "ericcc". The one I was actually using to sign in on the internet was the facebook link aka "Milo5tylo" (they both had the same email address)

When I realized there were 2 accounts with the same information (just different usernames) I decided to delete the "ericcc" account and keep the "Milo5tylo" account.

Bad news. Now I can't sign on my iPhone at all!! I can ONLY sign into Brightkite on a computer by clicking the "Facebook Connect" link.

Some of the places that I have checked in at are listed with correct address but are incorrectly located in the "map" view. These places are...

* Fitz Willys @ 23 Main St, Northampton, MA 01053, USA
* Sweeties Fine Chocolate @ 68 Main St, Northampton, MA 01053, USA
* Starbucks @ 211 Main St, Northampton, MA 01053, USA

The first two are mapped into the town next to Northampton (Florence). Starbucks is mapped in across the river in Amherst.
