Brightkite 2.0: Web: Running searches for “Seattle, Wa” has just started returning “2.91 km from Seattle” as a result

This is one of those, “this is new and this is what I am seeing” type of things.

Often, on the website, if I don’t know the address of a picture I want to post I will simply run a places search for “Seattle, Wa” and post to the general “Seattle, Wa” that is returned.

I have done this dozen of times on your website.

Today, I do a search for “Seattle, Wa” and for the FIRST time that I have ever seen this, the returned result is “2.91 km from Seattle”.

What in the world does “2.91 km from Seattle” mean? Why has it suddenly started doing this?

Repro Steps:
1. Navigate to www.brightkite.com
2. Sign in with account
3. Run search for “Seattle, Wa”
4. Returned result (for this user) was “2.91 km from Seattle”

Result: Running a search for “Seattle, Wa” on web has just suddenly started returning the odd search result of “2.91 km from Seattle”

Expected: Running a search for “Seattle, Wa” should not return an odd result like “2.91 km from Seattle”

NOTE: I don’t know if this is a BK problem or a Google problem.
