Hey everyone i have been working on a Brightkite application these past few days. Just trying at the moment to get simple sign-in and check in functionality and we will take it from there.

Inappropriate?Lauren, we don't have any immediate plans for a Palm app, but we may look into it further down the road. An app like that would also be a great use for our API, if there are devs out there with some free time. ;)

Inappropriate?I was just granted access to the Mojo SDK as of yesterday, so I think I'm going to take a stab at creating something for Brightkite. (The Palm Pre)

Inappropriate?It is kind of disconcerting, what with the availability of the WHERE app already and no recent news regarding a BK app.
Granted, I won't be leaving BK for WHERE any time soon, the communities just aren't comparable where I am, but its only a matter of time before more Pre users download WHERE...
Kind of makes me wish I would have stuck with my computer science classes so I could lend a hand.

Inappropriate?Very excited to see someone working on a brightkite app...! Would love to stop using the little app I've been using that passes current coords off to a Brightkite search. Would love to help test if possible and will fire a mail off when I get home :-)
