Giving users the ability to check-in to the particular train they are on board will reveal commuter communities who use the same railway line everyday. Communities which existed without anyone noticing.
Implementing this feature would involve getting worldwide train schedules (planned, real-time delays), route maps and the exact location of train stations. Of course there may be magical rule-of-thumb methods for achieving this..

It would probably take quite a bit of work to support something like this, but we'll add it to our feature list and look into it a little bit more once we get some time. We've had similar requests before so there's definitely more people out there who would like to see a feature like this. :)
