Mobile updated from Verizon Wireless aren't working (again)
Some time ago (there's a lot of posts on this) Brightkite had trouble with mobile updates coming from Verizon Wireless phones, both SMS and email. I've had no trouble with this for probably a year, but since the recent update, I can't update from my mobile phone any more. I've tried sending both SMS (to 41414) and email (to my personal email address) from my phone, and I get no response from Brightkite.

We have been experiencing some general bugs with SMS, so it's not specific to Verizon. We are tracking these down and squishing them as fast as we can. If you wouldn't mind, please shoot an email to lesley [at] brightkite dot com with your phone number and we'll see if this falls in with the other bugs or if you've stumbled across a new one.

Inappropriate?Update: it looks like it's working now. I'm not getting confirmations back when I check in via SMS or email though. I don't know if that's a bug or if that's just how the new version works. Anyhow, if you fixed it, thanks. If it fixed itself, then, well, I'm glad.
