Profiles set to private are publicly viewable in Google search
My account is set to totally private. When I googled my name, the mobile version of my brightkite listing popped up, with my ENTIRE lifestream on display. Seems to be a major security vulnerability. This is needs to be fixed, is definitely a major bug in the service, and is making be consider canceling my account.

Inappropriate?Ah, okay. It looks like when you first signed up you were posting in public mode, but have since switched to private. Switching modes does not retroactively make your past activity private, it just affects what you post from that point forward. We're currently working on an option that will let you change the privacy of your old posts, but until that is available you can use the trash can icon to delete any old posts you don't want the public to see. Very sorry for the confusion.

Inappropriate?No, everything that I had posted from "that point forward" is showing up on a fully accessible public time continuum. I made my account totally private in late December, and every post is still visible since making the switch. And, even if I trash all of the posts (or my account), it is still cached on the web, thus...being the problem. While I'm not so conscious of what is being indexed on the web, I see this being a potential issue for those with more sensitive posts.

Inappropriate?My mistake, I had thought I had logged out (and reset my browser) when I double checked it, but my auto-login must have signed me in or something. Nevertheless, thank you for being super helpful and diligent in troubleshooting this.
