Where's Martin, and why does Brightkite want to talk to Facebook?
I repeately receive the message:
Hi, <fb:name>
You have to ask Martin to enable sending to Facebook for your account.
--
When loading brightkite.com over the web. I really don't want to have to track down Martin :(
It's intermittent; most of the time it works fine.

Inappropriate?Adrian, that should be fixed now. Please let us know if you continue to encounter this problem.
-
Inappropriate?I'm still periodically receiving this error, while logged in (using OpenID via AOL with SecurID, if this matters). This will, eventually, result in my tracking down Martin :(
I’m unconvinced
-
Very sorry about that, we are looking into it now. -
Inappropriate?Yep, I'm having the same issue here :(
-
What browser are you using? What page is it happening on? -
I'm experiencing it with Google Chrome (which, like Safari, uses Webkit) on XP. Of course, you probably already gleaned that from the screenshot. -
Inappropriate?I'm on Safari (v 3.1.2) on a Mac. I receive the message each time I log in to Brightkite. A page refresh makes it disappear and then I'm taken to the home page.
-
Inappropriate? So, we finally found this one...it was tricky to reproduce. It basically happened when you had your Accept headers set to */*. We've fixed this on our side, if you see it happen again, please let us know.
Thanks,
Martin
The company says
this answers the question
-
Inappropriate?Yay! Logging in works now. But... logging out results in a page dump of code (see pic). Refreshing clears it.
Any ideas?
-
Interesting...which browser are you on? (Name, version, etc.) -
I might have found the problem...it was related to mime types in the response. Give it another try and let me know if you're still experiencing issues.
Thanks,
Martin
