Inappropriate? Will the Android app be essentially a port? Same (if not more) functionality as the iPhone app?
I’m giggly with anticipation
-
Lou, it will be similar but we will also take advantage of the unique features Android has to offer. -
Inappropriate?Same here, I've been checking the Market everyday wishing...hoping .. lol

Inappropriate?Hey all we are actively working on the Android app. To bridge the wait we've just implemented location guessing for Android.
Visit i.brightkite.com, click on "Search & check in". It will use Google Gears to guess your location.

Inappropriate? To complete the thought, you can certainly use PingDroid to update Brightkite. You might want create a custom trigger just for Brightkite...

Inappropriate? The website does work well, but I am looking forward to a true app. I'm available for alpha/beta testing or coding assistance if needed!

Inappropriate?I could bring in several friends if brightkite were available on more platforms. Android and Windows Mobile would be big. (I know, I know. I'm trying to convince those Windows Mobile guys to switch to a REAL phone OS).

Inappropriate? Will this application allow automatic check ins every set period of time or when you move a certain distance? It would be HIGHLY beneficial for the application to work with Locale (see: http://www.twofortyfouram.com/develop...)
I’m hoping
