Why can't i use a £10 note to buy a single ticket?
why do most bus drivers not accept larger denominations of currency for bus tickets? a £10 note is legal currency in the UK. there are no minimum amounts for each denomination is allowed to pay for. a customer can pay a £1.30 bus fare with a £10 note. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pound_st....
drivers need to be carrying more change and be more reasonable rather than have the rude attitude they currently have.

Inappropriate?I find having at least the 0.30 helps. £10.30 is a lot harder to make a fuss about.
A bit of give and take?
I’m half-joking

Inappropriate? With all public transport related systems, including parking you should be able to use most legal denominations (i except £50's may be pushing it) and, in the case of parking receive change. Or at the very least they should except plastic so that for most people having the correct change becomes a non-issue.
So many times I've had to not use the bus because I had no cash or just a £20 and took my car instead. It's ridiculous.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I totally agree, especially as the prices have got closer and closer to £10!
I’m irritated
