Mind you its far better to encourage the use of the www bit.
Some free websites do start with this http:// without the www
Most domains now will (if set correctly) work & show the site using either format, ie with or without the www bit. Might depend also on the lesser used browsers. Even Firefox is not yet accepted on all banking sites.

Glad it's sorted, they really didn't set it up correctly on day one. Glad they've sorted it, although I don't think they've spotted this site yet. -
Inappropriate?Yes its good in a way that www can now be dropped, but Ive only been internet savvy since 1997 when many sites to my memory would not work without it.
As for B&H knowing about this site, they certainly know about it now!
Maybe we will be able to include some 'employees' with some occasional official comments to cover the issues many may raise here.
