BumpTop caused partition table error
I run Windows Vista Home Premium (x86) and after installation of BumpTop I got a terrible problem, cause my computer did not start at all.
Only using Vista Recovery Disk I was able to repair that problem, but for a long while I was shaking about my data.

Inappropriate?Hi Jack,
That's a problem we've never seen occur before -- did anything happen during the installation? Since BumpTop is using the same msi installer as many other programs, it is unlikely that simply installing caused the partition table issues. If you check your hard drive's SMART properties, what does it say as to the state of your hard disk? -
Inappropriate?No, winson
nothing happened during installation, but - however - I installed BumpTop using monitored installation option of Advanced Uninstaller Pro.
After checking BumpTop for a few minutes during a day, I did uninstall it, but with marked back-up option in the monitoring program in order to reinstall again in the evening at home.
Then at home, I restored installation from that back-up & played with the BumpTop, it's functions, skins etc.
Then, after a restart, the computer did not load Windows & I could not even get into the system restore option from the hidden partition (notebook with pre-installation partition).
After quite many consultations with my fellow IT-friends, it went up, that the only way to start the system is to use "Vista Recovery Disk".
It helped, but right after first proper start of the system, I uninstalled BumpTop and all traces of it on my hard disk.
Maybe after the beta version will go over into the stable one, I'll try again, but for now - no chances. It's my comp with all my business data, that I can not afford to loose.
