Graphic Problems with Intel Chipset

I have tried resolving the graphic problems according to the instructions on the site. After I install the recommended updates according to the instructions, Bumptop doesn't run at all. This could be because they don't match exactly with my display adapter.

I have a Mobile Intel 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family with Win 7 on a Fujitsu P7120. This is after running the windows native driver updates, etc.

Please assist.

    Hi there,

Is there an error message that you get? Can you post up your dxdiag information so I can take a look? Go to Start, Run, dxdiag, and click "Save All Information". Copy paste the first ~20 lines or so, so I can see the OS information as well as the video driver version you have.

There isn't an error, but the graphic quality seems to degrade the longer I go without restarting. After about an hour, the titles for the icons aren't visible anymore.

    Hi there Augustus,

I'm not sure why my previous replies got deleted, but what I had said was that I was unable to reproduce your problems.

Can you provide me with any more clues about why this might be happening? Around what time did the problem begin? Are you seeing other graphics-related problems on your machine? Anything you feel might be relevant could certainly help out.

One thing you can try to alleviate the problem is deleting your BumpTop settings. To do this, open up a file explorer window, and type %APPDATA% in the address bar. Here you will see a folder called "Bump Technologies, Inc." Rename this folder to something else, and run BumpTop again; this will simulate a fresh install of BumpTop and your problem might go away. If this doesn't fix the problem, you can always go back and rename the folder back to its original name so your settings are restored.

Hi, I have actually re-installed it with the new version. It seems to only start after I bring the computer out of standby mode. When I restart the computer, it runs fine. So it is only a problem if I leave the computer on for a while, going in and out of standby.
