startup problems w/Latitude E4200, XP

Dell Latitute E4200 runinng Windows XP Since installing bumptop my machine will not come out of hibernation. the startup stalls out, I get a black screen w/HD activity on, have to pull battery. Haave taken Bumptop out of start menu and boot up is ok.
