Trying to break a pile from folder creates infinite loop; requires restart
Steps to reproduce:
1. Copy a folder to desktop
2. Ctrl+doubleclick to expand
3. Break pile
4. Answer yes to dialog box
An error appears, saying that the file cannot be moved, because the source file or source disk cannot be read. Clicking OK makes it appear again. This repeats itself tens of times, and is apparently an infintely loop. I had to exit BumpTop altogether to get out.

Inappropriate?Ok this was a nice challenge.. Took me one hour to find the bug and reproduce.
I found two ways of reproducing it
One way
Right click on desktop and make new folder (use default name)
Right click on desktop and make another new folder
Rename this folder to bug_files
Right click on desktop and make a new text document
Rename the document to bug.htm
Select the two folders,(not the htm file) and make a pile
Right click on pile and select Folderize
The next dialog that pops up asks for a name, use default and hit OK
Right click on the new folder and select "expand to pile"
Right click on pile and "break pile"
First dialog says "Break folder pile?" - I hit "move files and break folder"
Next dialog that pops up says "Error moving file or folder - Cannot move file"
Then you get stuck in a Loop
Another way
Right click on desktop and make new folder
Rename the folder to bug_files
Right click on desktop and make a new text document
Rename the document to bug.htm
Select the file and the folder, and make a pile
Right click on pile and select Folderize
The next dialog that pops up asks for a name, use default and hit OK
A new dialog pops up and says "Error moving file or folder - Cannot move file"
Hit ok and the pile gets folderized
Right click on the new folder and select "expand to pile"
Right click on pile and "break pile"
First dialog says "Break folder pile?" - I hit "move files and break folder"
A dialog pops up and says Error moving file or folder - Cannot move file
Then you get stuck in a Loop
I’m still here

Inappropriate? Thanks. I got out of BumpTop by exiting BumpTop, clicking OK on the error, and pressing close BumpTop on the crash report. EDIT: It worked the second time. And when BumpTop restarts the pile is broken!
I’m happy I could reproduce this twice

Inappropriate?Rawclaw,
We're reading all of these posts =). We've been focussed on integrating BumpTop with Windows 7 - so we've fallen a bit behind with these fixes.
We should have this issue fixed in the next update. -
Inappropriate?@Rawclaw: The issue has been investigated and fixed. It will be out in the next update.
I’m thankful for all the bug hunters out there!
The company says
this solves the problem
