VIP 1.1 Preview Refresh Build 3361 Now Available
A new VIP update will be available in the next few hours, and will be gradually released to testers.
This is a refresh of the VIP 1.1 Preview, and is build 3361.
If you'd like to help us test, email us at feedback AT bumptop.com with subject "VIP tester" and we'll send you a link to download the build.
Existing VIP users (on build 3312 or newer) should automatically get this update in the next few hours.
VIP testers should look for these improvements:
- Improved remote desktop detection which now properly detects 'switch user' scenarios. Please test this build with multiple logins via switch user and remote desktop/RDP and ensure BumpTop disables itself over remote desktop, and works with Switch User
- Re-implemented press and hold for right click gesture for touch panels
- Fix for non-truetype fonts causing crashing
- Fix for background CPU usage when lots of items are in recycle bin
- Various UI fixes for authorization
- Right click More menu now contains all Windows 7 items
- Additional changes for Windows 7 Logo certification
- Fixed issue where photoframes were viewed crookedly in slideshow mode
- Improved handling of Windows DPI changes ensuring text does not bleed off Settings dialog box
- Improved crash handling to reset settings if BumpTop crashes repeatedly
Please note:
A series of bugs related to new files/deleted files, slow start up, international language support issues, etc. as reported on our forums will be fixed in another update in the next week or two.
Let us know what you think! Respond to this thread with comments, bugs, complaints, etc.!

Interesting. If you disable the Control Panel icon, then re-enable it, can you see if the problem remains? -
the problem seems bigger lol
i disabled the control panel icon, it dissapeared from windows desktop but not the internet explorer icon, and when i reenbaled it, it came back on windows desktop and nothing changed on bumptop desktop... -
Gotcha. I've opened a bug for this and we'll see if we can get it fixed up for our next update. =)
