Why is the text for bumptop all boxes when I scroll over commands?

I've looked through the forum and can't find anyone with a similar problem.

I'm using English as my language. Initially when bumptop started up ALL text (for icons and for the instructions at the beginning and throughout the program) was boxes, as if I didn't have the right font. I installed Candara for the Icons and that worked. I still have a problem with the text in the program when I scroll over something being boxes.

I don't know if the program uses a different font than I currently have or what, but I can't read anything it tells me as I'm using the program. Please help. I really like this idea but this issue is very puzzling and frustrating.
