Applying to become a moderator is a four step process:
1. The first step is to make yourself visible helping others, chatting in rooms and generally being a good ChessCube citizen.
2. The second step is a moderator noticing your involvement with ChessCube and recommending you.
3. The third step is answering a questionnaire that a moderator will give you access to IF they want to recommend you as a moderator.
4. And the last is a vote from existing moderators.
DO NOT repeatedly ask moderators to recommend you - this will simply give them reason not to do so. Thus step 1 is REALLY important!

Inappropriate?Well, this a kink of long process for who has a lot of time.
I just would like to be a moderator to help more people from my country who can`t speack english... In that way I would make chesscube even bigger! -
Inappropriate? You don't need to be a moderator to help people ;)
-
Inappropriate?Hello every one.
Well i think the procedure written by official members are perfectly fine and true because if we want to be a Moderator then we have to follow those steps and some people were saying that its not necessary that " You don't need to be a moderator to help people" i think the idea is not correct but think logically that if we are helping someone and we are not a Moderator then that person will think that this person will right or not because that time we are a normal person and that time if we are a Moderator and we are helping people that time they will trust us easily. So the main point is to become a Moderator just follow those steps..

So what you are saying when a person asks a non-mod "how can I play a game on chesscube?" The non-mod can't help him because he is not a mod?! See my point, you don't have too be a mod to help people. -
Hey Hi artemis.hw r u.?
i think u didn't get the question and the answer i replied.the question was "How can I be a moderator?" and i replied on it and i didn't said this a non-mod can't help while anybody is asking for help like- " how can I play a game on chesscube?" even i have seen a non-mod is playing good then a mod. I think u didn't get my answer properly. there are something which can solve by a mod only, like the procedure of being a "MOD" a mod can only tell right...?

Inappropriate?can i become amoderator in egypt room?
-
Inappropriate?I think you guys are missing the point, as marilize said, "DO NOT repeatedly ask moderators to recommend you - this will simply give them reason not to do so. Thus step 1 is REALLY important!" - so don't keep asking to be mod in a certain room, instead work hard on ChessCube to become a good, helpful, citizen... if you are already doing this AND you are not constantly asking if you can become a moderator it will let other mods on CC recognise this and THEY will come to you recommending you as a mod.

Inappropriate?OK I have read this suggest from you mr. dragon Dreame. Im not gone insist to be a moderator because I don't have any benefit form that. I just want to help players, but if my status is not as mod. it is inposible to do that job our to help players in my citizent room our help room.
-
Inappropriate?Hey Burim,
You can still help players even if you are not a moderator - if someone asks a question or needs help, feel free to answer or help them. Also, if you do this often, it is more likely that a moderator or another user will nominate you to become a moderator. -
