How to: Validate your email account
When I log onto chesscube, I am told that I cannot chat until I have validated my email. What does this mean, and what should I do?

To write messages on ChessCube you need to validate your email address.
Please follow these steps in order to do so:
Log-on to ChessCube and click on the 'Resend Validation E-mail button' when prompted. If you do not see this message, you can find the button under File >> View/Edit Profile >> Edit Profile
- Wait a few minutes, if you still don't find the email then please check your junk/spam mail box to make sure this message was not trashed.
- Once you have the email, click the validation link
- If after all of this, you still DO NOT receive an email, please contact support@chesscube.com. If you DO receive an email but still cannot validate, forward that email to support@chesscube.com and we will validate your email for you.
Webmail provider specific instructions:
Yahoo
If you receive mail in your "Spam or Bulk" folder that you would prefer to see in your Inbox, click the "Not Spam" button after selecting the message in your Spam folder.
Hotmail
Go to your "Mail" tab and select the "Options" link on the upper right corner. Select "Junk E-Mail Protection" then "Safe List". Add "chesscube.com" to your safe list of email domain.
Others
Your mail software usually has some setting to allow you to add a safe or trusted domain. These safe domains will not be filtered or marked as spam. Please contact your internet service provider for assistance.

ChessCube support is getting many requests to manually validate emails - we are very busy, so you really should try to validate your email address by yourself. For anyone who still cannot validate their email accounts, please try to do the following BEFORE emailing support:
- Did you resend the validation email?
- Have you added chesscube.com as a safe email domain? If you can't add the whole domain, have you at least added bounce@chesscube.com as a safe sender or a contact/friend?
- Have you double-checked your email spelling? xyz@gmal.com is NOT xyz@gmail.com - the missing "i" means you will NOT receive mail!
- Have you looked in your spam/bulk-mail/trash folders to see if the validation email went there?
- Have you considered getting a free email account like gmail? Maybe your ISP is just too restrictive or even incompetent... who know what other emails are being blocked! Give gmail a try (http://mail.google.com/mail/signup) and then change your email setting in ChessCube to your new gmail account, and then resend the validation.

Please try again - we cannot validate everyone manually - we have many thousands of registrations per day! Our validation server did have some problems the last few days, but it looks like it is working fine now. Did you follow all of the instructions above? Yahoo often puts our mail in the spam/bulk folder... please check there. -
