Dance variation
Lately dancing has been getting a bit boring because of lack of variation in the steps which I assume are autogenned. I vaguely remember some talking about a proprietary beatmatching system y'all were using, or somesuch a while back. At any rate, lately it feels like it's always the same pattern (on Crazy, haven't tried others); Neverending streams of what I'll call quarter beat steps for lack of a more informed term, occasionally broken up with a trio of eighths... again, and again, and again. The strings of quarters feel like they're always the same pattern, too - two one way, one another, then two another way, then one, then two, and so on. I'd really like to see something, anything, in the way of spicing things up. Different patterns, heavier use of eighths and rests to break up the monotony. Maybe even different stepcharts (to borrow the DDR term, again for lack of anything better) depending on flirty, flashy, or funny dance style. The most memorable and fun songs are the ones that shake things up a bit, diverge from the usual patterns, do something crazy. That's fun.
