New Location Sharing is a Step Backwards
I used to be able to post to Twitter with the current location from Fire Eagle in the form "Voila! I'm current at (somewhere or other)".
Though I can still "share" my location via Twitter from Voila! I'm now only able to enter text into the Twitter update which then appends a Maps URL.
This seems a retrograde step and certainly isn't as quick, easy or intuitive to use; is there any way to get the previous functionality back?

Inappropriate?I see what you mean. The best way I see to put back that feature again is to allow to post on Twitter without any message (you will still have the new "Share on Twitter" view with the message box and the URL.)
Would that be a good solution for you?
I’m thankful

Inappropriate? So you mean add the location's text returned from Fire Eagle (tempered by whatever you have set for Voila! in Fire Eagle granularity wise), as the default text in the Share On Twitter box? Maybe highlighted so that you can choose to type straight over it. That'd be a great solution, as least for me.

I was saying put back the text you had before ("Voilà! I'm currently around...") with the URL to the Map, if you publish a Twitter message that is empty. If you type something in the message box, your message will be published instead of the default message. Is that correct for you? -
Inappropriate?Ok, then I will implement that on Voilà! 1.2 (that include sharing your location on Facebook) that will probably be pushed to the App Store in about 2 weeks. Thanks for your patience, and your feedback!
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Hi Gary!
Just wanted to let you know that this improvement is part of Voilà! 1.2 that has been pushed to the App Store yesterday. We are just waiting Apple's approval.
Thanks again for your feedback!
I’m excited
