Inappropriate?I had my Facebook disabled a week ago. I've written to warnings@facebook.com, login@facebook.com, disabled@facebook.com, and appeals@facebook.com. I wrote to them everyday. I have not gotten a reply.
I’m fustrated and sad!

After 2 months, have you had any luck? -
Inappropriate?Same boat. Disabled on Monday...no follow-up (autoreply only). No warnings were given....in fact, I'd just paid to do two business ads with them on that day. Furious that the customer service could be so slack.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Update: over a week now and I have heard nothing. I e-mail every day. Getting close to the point where I don't give a crap anymore.
I’m getting close to not giving a crap

Any luck wgbbsa? -
Inappropriate?I finally heard back yesterday. Unfortunately, they disabled me for thinking that I was a business promoting myself through my profile page...which I wasn't. It all began when I tried to post two advertisements on the site to help generate interest to sell/rent properties I own (non-related to my profile). They wouldn't reactivate my page (lost all contacts and photos)...even with explanation...I've started over with a new page and have recovered many of my contacts. They are very black/white with decisions. The only reason I got a response (after 8 days) was I sent a credit card bill showing they were charging me to advertise and they quickly responded back...it had to do with money and they jumped right on a response. I am soured on my experience but haven't found a better networking source so I opted to save my contacts.
I’m unsure.

Inappropriate?I can't believe it. I created my facebook account years ago. Today I signed on just like any other day, I wished an old college friend happy birthday. I added a couple friends who had requested me that I'd met at a recent art festival I worked at, wrote on a friends wall from High school..... nothing special...
this evening I signed on and my account has been disabled. I'm absolutely appalled. I didn't do anything that violated their terms of use, I reviewed theri terms very carefully just to be sure I hadn't slipped up and gotten unluckily caught in some loophole or odd rule. Their rules are very basic and logical, and I have violated any of them in the least.
I've emailed the disabled address.... we'll see what happens but this really is so embarrassing, what on earth will my coworkers, friends, and family around the world that I've managed to stay connected to via facebook think when they notice I'm gone! Nevermind all the photos I"ve lost and the fact that I certainly won't be able to remember ALL the friends I added who I reconnected with from high school, college, studying abroad etc...
Furthermore, I never received ANY notification or warning that anything I'd done on facebook was in violation of any facebook policy.
I’m OUTRAGED

Inappropriate?Well it was two weeks and I was restored finally. The message I got said that I was adding friends at too fast a rate. I admit doing this because of an application I was playing on Facebook. These invites were from a group site listing people who requested that they be added as friends. So much for my defense. Needless to say, this caught the attention of Facebook robots and kicked out an alert of sorts. As I explained to Facebook folks, it was not my intention to spam or some other similarly disgusting practice, and I did not violate their terms of service (as I interpreted it). . Anyway, once I did get to correspond with an administrator, it was cordial. I wrote an e-mail everyday asking me to restore my account and that I did not violate the terms of service. So.......this is just a word of caution to those who may want to add friends. Don't go too fast. Facebook is privately owned and they'll do what they want and what they deem is right. Stay under the radar and behave.
I’m taking my lumps and going forward
