Hello,
2 days ago I have send private message to several of my friends which are not in my friends list but they are my friends. I know this is out of law for facebook rules. And I get the following message.
“Your account has been disabled by an administrator. If you have any questions or concerns, you can visit our FAQ page here. “
I have search all the reasons that can disabled my facebook account and this agree with the above reason.
I have sent 3 e-mails until now in this mail
- disabled@facebook.com
- appeals@facebook.com
- info@facebook.com and I haven’t received any answer from the administrator yet. I wondering if this administrator check the mails. I know I will be never get any answer or any attention but I get the risk.
However, I have 2 simple questions:
1) Can I have my account back YES or No? I don’t care if I will have the applications or the friends I can build it again. If NO what I must to do to get it back? Because the server keep my mail in Block list. I’m study computer science and I know how to work the all system.
2) Or how to create new account when the server keep my mail block?
I think is too bad this...

Inappropriate?well guys i really hate to tell you this but the same thing happened to me. Yesterday. Mine was disabled for searching too many people (I just came back from Israel and met 15 people there who gave me their facebooks) in a short amount of time. Today since it wouldn't let me log on I asked one of my friends to go onto their Facebook and see if my profile was still on there and she said no. Hence...Unfortunately mine was deleted. As I really still have hope that it wasn't.

Inappropriate?I am in the same boat - the creator of Facebook is now worth upward of $1.5 billion, you would have thought some of that could be used to investigate the difference between real spammers and enthusiastic FB users like me! I created a group called "Alex Deacon is so Sexy" and was just inviting people named Alex Deacon to join - nothing harmful or derogatory - and now i have been disabled with NO info if it is deleted, disabled or just invisible at this time.
I hope its still there i have created groups im admin for, 30 picture albums (20 FULL), 269 friends not to mention all of my friends photos i am tagged in.
Please let me know if this message subsides, or someone helps me - i need facebook - especially as i am going to Uni in spet and im already making friends!

Facebook have this option and then when we use it it is an offence....funny and confuse? Then they should take it off to avoid people commiting the offence.

Inappropriate?They re-enabled mine after I sent them 1.21 million emails asking for my account back. also they were in violation of their own terms and agreement. Not bad for a social site to be non social in the way they ban you, lack of phone support (called told to press 1 for customer support only to press1 and be told they don't offer it, what a fucking crock of shit that is). They had video's and pictures and info that is solely mine. A $500 million lawsuit was being put together and they had FIVE days to reply or I was going through with it. so it might have been a combination of the emails and lawsuit. but the REASON FOR DISABLING MY ACCOUNT WAS that I changed the last name on my account, I mean it is called FACEBOOK because you go in there and look for familiar faces, if it was solely by name it would be the PHONE BOOK. get real FB, step it up a bit. Did I really have to CONFIRM WITH MY CELL PHONE?? Thanks to that new thing I now get unsolicited calls to my cell of which nobody had the number. Thanks alot

I ended up virtually spamming the info@facebook.com email address one afternoon (like literally emailing every 2 minutes for about 30 minutes) and they finally answered me and reactivated my account. Overall, it took me like 8 days to finally get a response though. Keep trying!

My facebook account was disabled last night. Here is what I sent to them:
I'm really sorry to bother you, but unfortunately my account was disabled last night and I'm worried that it won't return. My girlfriend and some friends called me late last night to find out why I had disappeared and I didn't know what to tell them. I told them what I was doing at the time it was disabled:
I was uploading pictures (V-Day pictures) from Picasa to Facebook using my Picasa desktop software. They were about four or five pictures but for some reason they weren't displayed correctly and so I retried several times. Maybe it was perceived that my account was hacked into?
At the same time, I was using Brightkite, a third-party site in linking to my facebook. I have been linking various sites to my facebook using facebook connect so that all of my social networking sites can be tied in together with my facebook profile acting at some level an an information hub. I'm not sure if it was information overload, or a site was banned from accessing facebook, or there were too many sites for facebook to handled; however, I used that site's "facebook connect" feature so I thought that facebook had a relationship with those site owners to access facebook at no harm to the user.
The above activities were happening around the time that my account was disabled. If for any reason I did anything wrong as a result of my uploading of pictures or using facebook connect on several sites then I apologize and will follow any and all instructions and warnings as to how I may improve my use of your site.
I just thought that if I was doing something wrong that I would be warned that I was doing so. My account has never been disabled before and I really don't want my dilemma to mirror those users that I've read online who weren't able to restore their account or it had been a month and there was no response from facebook support.
Please review and consider my case and any suggestions as to how I may prevent my account from being disabled in the future and they will be adhered to according to your terms of service and use.

Inappropriate?1) You probably won't get your ancount back, not even an answer. They do what they please, it's there website, they have few competitors so they don't care.
2) You must use an other email address to create a new account: they block your previous address. Once you entered an email in Facebook it's kept for ever (e.g. when you delete an account you can see it's not *really* deleted if you try to recreate it back). Facebook is a data black hole.
Hope they will have some serious competition, and they will realize they have to be more human and friendly if they want their users to keep trusting them.

It happened to me once that I was removed as I was keeping adding new friends, even though of a few alerts I received (but very few this time actually), so I just wrote to abuse@facebook.com explaining them the situation, and they finally gave me my account back!! :-) BUT, be aware of the fact that you wouldn't be able to " misbehave " again, as I received a message telling me they can only do that once!!

I have checked and rechecked the code of conduct, and have in no way come close to violating it. I have sent 8 emails in the last 14 days trying to rectify this, and like you have yet to recieve any response, not even an automated one saying that my email had been recieved, honestly, not the way to treat a customer

I have sent numerous emails to facebook via abuse,info login,disable no response. They are in violation of the privacy act not giving you access to your info. I continue to email facebook and have forwarded the the complaint file # from Trust e!!I just want my stuff back status comments pictures, plus all my info is in limbo and I have no access to it. I hadn't logged on in a couple of days, and when I try to log on, -tad-dah- it's gone. This is a real pain in the ass because my college pretty much networks everything through facebook.
