"Mark as read and hide" does not work across views
When reading items, I frequently just hit the X button for "mark as read and hide" when the preview shows me enough info that I don't need to read the entire item. This appears to work in the moment: that is, the item disappears from the screen.
However, when back in the digest view, those items still appear (as they belong to favorite feeds). So for some reason, they don't stay "marked as read and hidden", so to speak.

Inappropriate?No. This sounds like a bug. If you mark as read and hide in a category or feed page, then go to the digest, they should not be visible in the digest. Will try to see if we can reproduce this on our side. Will keep you posted.

Inappropriate?Update: I talked to the dev team. We are not able to reproduce this but we think that it might be because we fixed a bug related to this problem yesterday. When was the last time you restarted firefox? Are you running 1.2.214?
