Add the possibility to set filter for each feed.
Hi,
There is a feature I would be really interested in. I suscribe to some sites that over-post. Let assume half of their topics are about graphic design and the other about development. It would be awsome if we could add filters for each feed.
There are web-apps that already provide this kind of features but it is boring to generate a feed from another one with filtering and then suscribe to this new feed.
In the dashboard, you could add near the 'unsuscribe button' a 'custom this feed button'.
Thanks for considering my request.

Inappropriate?A related idea is to be able to filter by article author on feeds. There are several multi-author blogs I read that have a couple of lemons.

Both ideas are very good. I will add them to the roadmap. It might take a little while because we have been snowed in with requests and we are trying to get two major new features out by the end of september. -
Inappropriate? Here are two of the best web-apps for filtering feeds. You could maybe find some inspiration there. If you want help or ideas about criterias or whatever, let me know.

Inappropriate?I forgot to talk about something. The dashboard would be even better if we could manage the categories and the name of the feeds.
For now, we have to click the feed, click the top-right-hand corner button and 'Edit subsription'. It is 2 useless clicks. Categories are non-editable (even in GReader apparently but you could simulate it, by creating a new category, changing feeds from category, delete the old category).
Thanks -
Yes. we need to make things a little simpler and more explicit. In the meantime, please try to right click on the feed and select the edit subscription. It should allow you to edit the subscription, right from the dashboard page.
