Does Feedly Notify?
I read somewhere that Feedly can notify me of new posts in my feeds... if so, where would I see this notification? Or did I read wrong?

Inappropriate?Hi Cynthia. Feedly does not know to push/notify users. All it does at this point is to 1) track for each of the sources you subscribe to which articles you have already read and which ones are new and 2) filter the list of all unread articles and create a list of the best/most relevant ones (the content of the greatest tab/category.
By notify, do you mean send you email, tweet messages or popups on the desktop? If so what criteria would you like to see exposed to control that?
Best.

Inappropriate?Hi Edwin thanks for your reply... I would like a popup or some sort of scrolling alert that would show me when new feeds are available.
Something outside the browser window. I'm using the Firefox plugin and I do really like it so far. Took me a bit to get used to it but so far so good, and I made it my home page so I don't miss my friend's updates.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?OK. A configurable popup window is a good suggestion. We will look into this as soon as we have feedly 2 out (early dec.). Please let us know if you have any other suggestions.

Inappropriate?I'd love to see either an icon in the status bar of firefox (like google reader watcher, for example) whenever there are new feeds. Or, maybe it could just make the icon in the toolbar glow? Right now, I have to have the reader watcher installed and running, but I'd much rather go to feedly to read everything...

Inappropriate?Lara: yes. makes a lot of sense. We are a little resource constrained right now because we are trying to get feedly 2 out but we will definitely look into this as soon as we have a few cycles. Thank you. -Edwin
