Mark page read in all views
Having a 'Mark page as read' (as seen in category views) would be very useful. If a reader has a preferred view they enjoy using, having to switch to an alternative view to mark items read (or having to focus on each item on the page to mark it read) is quite inconvenient.

Inappropriate?Makes sense. We will try to look into this next week (this week we are focusing all our energy on an unread count issue). Thank you for the suggestion. I will update this thread when the feature is implemented

Inappropriate?The mark all read text at the top of category pages is not clearly clickable. Also it still stops working for me once an article has been expanded inline.
Perhaps if you enabled the keyboard shortcut 'm' on category pages and the various front pages it would add the necessary functionality, eliminate the clickable "mark as read" issues, and minimize clutter. -
Inappropriate?I have a problem with the "mark as read" keyboard shortcut. Doesn't work in any view. All other shortcuts work.
Otherwise I'm in love with feedly! Had a similar idea, but I could never have executed it this well! Fantastic work!

But maybe a visual cue for this state transition should be given. (Hiding the "mark as read" x-box maybe ...)
