Out of sync / RAM consumption
I have made a lot of changes in Google Reader, and Feedly isn't updating. I have logged out from feedly and restarted Firefox. I even reinstalled Feedly to a new Fx profile.
I also noticed that feeldy makes Firefox consume too much memory. Running Firefox without extensions, around 70 MB. After feedly installed without any other extension, aprox.100 MB more. I take this very much in consideration because my computer's setup is very limited.
Thank you

Inappropriate?Hello.
Regarding being out of sync, are you sure that you are logged into the right Google/Google Reader account? Feedly only has an in-memory copy of what is stored inside Google Reader so I do not think that feedly could be out of sync with Google Reader after restarting the browser. May be feedly has some problems loading part of the new changes you made in Google Reader. I am not sure. Do you see any error messages in the Firefox Error Console after you start your browser and you log in?
Regarding memory, feedly needs indeed 20-30MB of RAM to be able to cache articles and make recommendations. Reducing our memory footprint is an on going goal and you might be able to see some progress at the end of march. -
Yes, i logged out many times from from Feedly and Google reader. I'm pretty darn sure I logged out from the account I use to read my feeds. -
About RAM, Firefox was consuming around 70MB alone without any extension, when I installed Feedly, Firefox was consuming around 170MB -

Inappropriate?Regarding the account, could you please email me at edwink@devhd.com a screenshot of what you are seeing in the feedly dashboard and a screenshot of your subscription page in Google Reader? Could you also please email me a copy of your Google Reader OPML?
Regarding memory, 170MB is definitely not normal. There must be a bug/leak somewhere. Do you have a steps to try to reproduce this? I will explore in parallel and try to see if I can reproduce this problem. -
Inappropriate?Note: to other people saying that they have the same problem: which problem are you talking about: being out of sync or the RAM?

OK. Are you able to reproduce this all the time? If so can you please share with us the list of pages and actions that lead you to this state? -
Inappropriate?RAM increases after installing or enabling the Feedly extension, I don't have to do anything specific.
I’m neutral

Ok.. This is good we are making progress. This says that you have 3089 RSS subscriptions organized in 8 tags. Do you see something different in the UI? If so, can you please provide us with a screenshot? -
I'm going to send you by email what's appearing in the dashboard -
Inappropriate? As I suspected. I deleted a lot of subscriptions and the problem apparently fixed itself.
I’m happy
