Cannot get flash to work in Flock 2.5.2
Flash works fine in all other browsers other then Flock including Firefox. When I goto the about:plugins it says I have the newest version as does the Adobe flash site. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted the comp, manually deleted the flash plugin DLL in C:/windows/systems 32/macromedia folder, then reinstalled and restarted again, even tried copying the entire plugins folder from Mozilla to Flock (I of course backed it up and put back the original files when it didn't help) and finally I re-downloaded and installed flock 2.5.2. Absolutely nothing seems to work.
I love this browser and have made all my friends use it...their Flash works fine but mine doesn't!!
I'm running 32-bit XP Pro, Flock 2.5.2, no firewall.
Thanks!!

That is strange...
Do you have any extensions installed, and if so, could you please disable them and see if that resolves your issue?
Could you please provide us with an example of YouTube and MySpace URLs, where the videos aren't properly working? Do they work fine in Firefox?
Last, does the error message on the MySpace page mention that you might need to have JavaScript on?
Thanks,
Sophie

Inappropriate?Hi,
Using Flock, could you please go to http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507... , then copy and paste here the player version you see?
Also, upon uninstalling, then reinstalling the Flash plugin, or the Flock browser, did you make sure that any other browsers, in particular Firefox, are closed during the (re) installation?
Thanks,
Sophie -
Inappropriate?Player Version is WIN 10,0,32,18
I never have any other browsers open other then when I come across something with Flash, then I usually open up IE real quick. I hadn't opened Firefox in months until today just to check if Flash worked. -
Inappropriate?I think I need to clarify my question. It appears some flash works. Youtube works but the videos are all herky-jerky, but on Myspace bands profiles, the music player doesn't work at all, I get the "you need flash for this" message where the player should be.
I’m undecided

Inappropriate?Ok so I disabled all 15 extensions and it worked, youtube videos are still a little jerky but not as bad. I guess ill go thru one at a time and see which extensions did it and report back.
I’m amused

Inappropriate?Ok so it looks like it was adblock, since I have a newer version of adblock plus, I just uninstalled it. The strange thing is, it wasn't set to be blocked at all and it didn't block other flash things like youtube.
Either way everythings on the up and up! Thank you sooo much!
I’m happy
