Hey Jumblebuckler,
I hear that you are frustrated, but please understand that we are a small startup based on the West Coast of the USA. We do not employ full-time support staff and we go home at the end of the day. We do our best to get to all the support topics in a timely fashion, but we can't guarantee that we'll get to it immediately, especially if posted at the end of our day.
There is no way to disable the Media Bar at this time. However, it should only automatically pop open when you log into an account for the first time.
Here are the steps that should keep this from happening again:
1. Log into Photobucket (or whichever photo sharing account you're using)
2. When the orange messagebar appears at the top of the browser asking if you want to "remember" the account, please click "Remember Account"
3. Close the MediaBar
Next time you log in to this account, the Mediabar should not open. Follow these same instructions for every media sharing account you have that you don't want to open the Mediabar.
Let me know if this helps,

my question is like this, if we have shared computer we dont want remember account and we dont want extra things to click on every time and if you say never for this account it still asks every time -
Inappropriate? The main issue here for me in not wanting the program to remember accounts is that IF I do have it remember them (and please keep in mind that I have lots), then it takes Flock a very long time to start up, as it's trying to log into all of them... I mean literally like 45-60 seconds of waiting for Flock to come up.
To top it off, it chews up memory like it's nobody's business, affecting all other apps running, even if I only have 2-3 tabs open.
I love Flock, but these are serious problems imho that should be addressed to make this a very unique browser in the end.
I’m bummed

Inappropriate?Hey Freddi,
Flock should not start up slower if you have more accounts remembered; this is a pretty small part of the processing that is happening.
If your startup is taking a long time, I suggest the following items:
1. Make sure you're using the latest version of Flock
2. Try disabling your extensions (if you have any)...sometimes these can cause problems. If disabling them fixes it, re-enable one-by-one until you find the culprit
3. If 1 and 2 don't work, try the "Reset your Odometer" step here: http://www.flock.com/tune-up. While in there, you can also delete the flock.sqlite file, which may clear things up.
Let me know if those help!

Inappropriate?I HATE THIS MEDIA BAR! HOW DO I GET RID OFIT?
I have went to the settings and un checked it. Went to view>minibar> and unchecked it.. and it keeps coming back. You know, I love flock. But I hate that damn media baar. If there is no way to get rid of it, i think im better off just getting rid of flock. =/
I’m RLY FRUSTRAtED

Inappropriate? This is why i came here as well....I don't want Flock to REMEMBER accounts i have....What a stupid thing to have that stupid thing dropping down all the time. Also the bar that has the box "don't show this again'' is completely useless....it always comes back.
How is this any less annoying than any other POP UP?
I’m frustrated
