Flypaper uses the Huffy 2.1.1.1 codec to render video. It is included in the Flypaper installer. Sometimes that installer does not register correctly with Windows or a different version of the codec may be installed on your computer. Other programs use this codec as well.
When there is a problem, you will see a variety of different errors when trying to save a Flypaper Story as a video. Get the zip file with the Huffy files.
1) Download the zip file
2) Extract it to a folder on your computer
3) Right-click the Huffy.inf file and select Install
The codec should install in just a few seconds. Restart Flypaper and Save as video.Download the zip file
2) Extract it to a folder on your computer
3) Right-click the Huffy.inf file and select Install
The codec should install in just a few seconds. Restart Flypaper and Save as video.

I downloaded and extracted the files but when I right click and try to install the inf file I get an error message that says," A referral was returned from the server." Any suggestions? -
Inappropriate? The link for the zip file is not working - and I would like to try this solution for my "problem saving video' error

Inappropriate?Marcee,
I emailed the zip file to you using the alternative address you provided.
Please let me know if you have received the file.

Inappropriate? The link is fixed. Sorry about that, the zip file was accidentally deleted from this folder.

Inappropriate?I am running vista (installed flypaper yesterday - October 27, 2008) and do not have "install" as a choice for huffy.inf - the best I can do is open it.
When I try to save as video, it simply will not - says there is a problem....

Inappropriate?Did you unzip the file first?
One reason for the install option to not be there is if the file has not been extracted yet. -
Inappropriate?Clearly 2 hours sleep per night for the past three nights has caught up with me. I'm an idiot!!!

Inappropriate? This is a massage you would typically get under one of the three following situations:
- The zip file was not finished downloading.
- The zip file did not down load correctly.
- The files did not properly extract from the zip file.
I would suggest deleting them and trying again. If this does not work I recommend submitting a support ticket. The Flypaper tech support team is always happy to help.
