Undo venue merge - how?
So one of my regular checkin spots has been erroneously merged with another by someone who I'm sure was looking to be helpful. How do I undo that? I'm a SuperUser level 1...

Inappropriate?as far as I know there is no undo for merges; you'll have to recreate the venue.

I can't re-create the venue, unless I call it something that is not its name. If I use the actual name of the venue on checkin, it just sends me to the merged venue.
Going to the website, I did manage to create a new venue though - it was the iPhone app that just forced the merged venue on me. -
they announced a few days ago that venue names are no longer required to be unique. you should try again. -
Richard, I'm not sure what you mean. Certainly checking in using the iPhone App would punt me into the new (and wrong) merged venue... (?) -

"@foursquare does this mean if I add my local Starbucks I can use the venue name "Starbucks" and it will still add?"

"@targeteer2k Yup, venuenames no longer need to be unique. NYC already has 20 venues just called "Starbucks""
