Can't log in with new password

I was trying to complete the set up for Foxmarks (Xmarks!) and when I clicked on "Forgot My Password," I was sent an email message with a link to change my password. When I do that I am taken to a website which says that re-setting my password was successful and that I now needed to go into Firefox' Tools menu to change the Foxmarks password there. However, when I entered my password in order to get into that utility and I was given an error message stating that my password was incorrect. I tried this approximately three times and decided the problem was not me - there must be a glitch in the program that does not recognize new passwords, at least my new password.

Please contact me and tell me how I can resolve this issue. My name is Janine Busald, my email address of record is <janine.busald@gmail.com>. Please fix this, or tell me how I can work around this glitch. Unless that happens, I will be unable to see if Foxmarks is as great as I've read about.
