Firefox crashing, probably due to xmarks
I have had xmarks installed in Firefox 3 for linux for months with no difficulties. All of a sudden, firefox began to crash. All my bookmarks are gone and any attemt to open "Organize Bookmarks" or sync with xmarks crashes Firefox. No option to view/send a crash report which is very odd. Can't disable xmarks because opening the Add-ons window also crashes firefox. Any ideas on next troubleshooting steps?

I would create a new Firefox profile and start fresh. Have you recently upgraded to Firefox 3.5? We've been seeing reports of corrupted profiles after upgrading, but not to the extent that you're experiencing. Directions for setting up a new profile are here:

Is anything listed if you navigate to about:crashes ? We'd really like to see a crash report if you can manage to get one.

Setting up a new profile is a good idea. Oddly enough about:crashes says "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded". Firefox 3.0.11 on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS. -
Inappropriate?I just realize this has nothing to do with FoxMarks, my startup disk was completly full and therefore Firefox couldn't write to the bookmarks file. Man I feel like such a f&*%ng n00b!!!
