missing bookmarks on Xmarks - Sync Issue
Xmarks has started sync'ing all my bookmarks to each computer even though I have 3 profiles setup for the 3 machines I use.
When I log onto Xmarks I get only the 3 standard profiles (mobile, Work and Home) but I should have a fourth profile called Temporary which appears in the profile list under Profiles when I go into options in the Firefox add-on.
I also get the following message when I close the Profiles window in Xmarks
We're sorry, the database did not answer the request to retrieve your bookmarks. Please try again.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
This has been happening since Wednesday when I upgraded from Foxmarks to Xmarks on the Temporary machine (machine not used since January). When it sync'd the bookmarks it downloaded ALL my folders/bookmarks even though it should only have downloaded the Temporary profile bookmarks.
The next day at work it again downloaded ALL my bookmarks instead of keeping just the bookmarks under the Work profile it downloaded the Temporary and the Home bookmarks.
I have not yet been home to see what will happen with my bookmarks there but will be trying tonight.
Why is it doing this and how can I get to my bookmarks on the Xmarks server?
Thanks.

Inappropriate?Hey Cath733,
I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. Are you still seeing that error message when you login into my.xmarks.com? I suspect that your profile settings were reset at some point. We've received one report of this, but haven't been able to reproduce it on our end. If you can login to my.xmarks.com, double check your sync profile setups, as well as the profile you are syncing to in Xmarks Settings->Profiles tab.
If those are all correct, We'll dig deeper.

Inappropriate?Hi, sorry for the delay. I forgot about this due to real life interfering but tonight I worked it out.
Many, many, many moons ago I setup a profile on foxmarks but for reasons long forgotten it didn't do it for me and I abandoned it. Later I came back to foxmarks but couldn't remember what username/password I used originally and created a new account. It appears that I have been logging into my old account but my bookmarks are syncing on my 'new' account. I logged into my new account tonight when I realized what I was doing and my bookmarks and profile are all there as they should be.
My apologies for my stupidity. I have now deleted my old account so this won't happen again. To me anyway. I hope.
I will figure out the syncing issue now I can see what is going on.
Thanks for the reply, apologies for wasting your time.
