Not clear "Foxmarks to XMarks" plugin for IE and Safari

I've received the email about "Foxmarks is becoming Xmarks".
Actually I use Foxmarks as bookmark sync service for my Firefox 3 (on Linux), IE7 on my Windows Vista PC, and Safari on a MacBook.
As I can see actually only XMarks for Firefox is available so... what will happens if I'll update my Foxmarks plugin for Firefox and not for IE and Safari ?

I'm also a bit scared about new features... I'm talking about privacy...
