What web browsers does Foxmarks support?
I know that I can use Foxmarks with Firefox, but what other browsers does it support today? What browsers does Foxmarks plan to support in the future?

Update as of January 2009:
Please note that this information was accurate at the time of writing in January 2009. It may have changed since then.
Foxmarks currently supports Firefox 3, and has beta testing programs available for Internet Explorer and Safari for OS X.
For backward compatibility, we continue to support Firefox 2, but new features may not be available for this browser. If you use Firefox 2, we highly recommend upgrading to the latest and greatest.
Please let us know if you're interested in support for another browser, preferably by creating a thread on this forum suggesting support for that browser as an idea (that way others can vote for it too).

We plan on supporting Internet Explorer 6 and 7 (IE6, IE7). At present, we are running an alpha testing program for interested users to try Foxmarks for IE. If you are interested in participating, please read this blog post for details.
We are investigating adding support for Safari, but have not committed to this browser at present.
Please let us know if you're interested in support for another browser, preferably by creating a thread on this forum suggesting support for that browser as an idea (that way others can vote for it too).

Inappropriate?I love foxmarks... the idea of having all my bookmarks in sync with all my computers is just great... I miss having it in all my other browsers especially Opera and Safari. I do not care much about IE because I will never use it... it is just a terrible browser!
I’m a bit dissapointed
-
Agree 100% – I would love opera and safari support, but could care less about IE. -
Inappropriate?I would like to see support from FoxMarks for the Opera Web Browser. Currently, when I find a new site to add my bookmarks when using Opera, I have to open Firefox 3, cut and paste the website, then sync to FoxMarks. Sometimes, I use a text editor to store mutliple sites for later import into Firefox, sync to FoxMarks, save the Bookmarks into an html file, then import into Opera to keep both browsers current. Sounds worse than it really is, but geesh, next to an operating system, and Norton Internet Security, nothing is more important than FoxMarks, IMHO, in our Internet computing lifestyles, today.
I’m looking foreward to OperaMarks!!!!!
-
Yeah totally! Now, Opera has their own FoxMarks-type thing included in it – Opera Link – but it doesn’t sync with other browsers. Still, the fact is that data has got to be accessible somehow. I’d love to see FoxMarks work with Opera to standardize this (or at least get the browsers talking to each other). -
Inappropriate?Do you support Flock - it's kind of built on top of firefox but I can't get it to work.
I’m hoping for it to work
-
Earlier versions of Flock re-wrote the bookmark interface to support tagging, but Flock 2.0 re-uses the Firefox internals, so seems to work just fine with Foxmarks. -
Inappropriate?Foxmarks hit the mark with the cloud based bookmark service, but missed the mark eaually as much without broad ranging browser support. I use Opera, Firefox, and IE 7 in that order. The first two change from time to time and I will certainly use Chrome, since that is the direction of my company's proudcts. I use computers at home, work, and a laptop, as well as remote computers. So, for now, I'll not be able to invest the time to put my bookmarks into your tool. Please be sure to update this thread when you get more platforms behind this otherwise cool looking tool.

Inappropriate?Listen to your users – strongly consider Opera and Safari!
