Hi there

We have a website support service with our clients that we bill annually in advance. So, for example, they pay for two hours per month (24 hours in total). If they don't use their allocated time they can roll it over to the next month. We send them monthly or quarterly reports to show how much time they have used and what we did.

I want to use FAC to simplify this process so I've created tasks against the project (which has already been invoiced) and then created a timeslip each time a task is completed.

It seems that I will now have an outstanding amount against this project, although it has already been invoiced.

I have two questions:

1. Is there anyway I can write these tasks/timeslips off against the invoice already paid?
2. Is there anyway to send the client an updated list of tasks/timeslips completed to show how much time they have left in their contract?

I'm a freelance designer and have only recently discovered FreeAgent. Looks impressive and appears to be the closest yet for me working in UK. There are some curious omissions though: Estimates and Purchases. In my workflow I need to send estimates to win the work in the first place - and I often need to send Purchase Orders to my suppliers too. Estimates also need to be easily turned into invoices.
I'm currently using MYOB, but really want to get away from it, although it already does both these features.
Might go FreeAgent anyway but it will be horrible to have to create Estimates manually and outside of the environment.

I'm new to Free Agenct Central. I'm just starting to enter my first projects/invoices. Can you tell me what the 'project-level invoice sequencing' is for?

It would be great to have an option to label or tag payments, invoices, etc so I can generate a profitability per project view.

At the moment, I use 'rebilling' to mark invoices and payments to a project and leave the unbilled items, well, unbilled, so I can tally costs and do rough profitability calculations on projects, but it's clumsy (and obviously not what rebilling option was designed for).

I have a couple of issues :

1 ) I need to delete a user from my account - I only added him when I was messing about but now I am using the system seriously I can't find any way to remove him.

2 ) When creating a new client, I am unable to use the same email address if it already exists for another client. In my case, I have a client with three separate businesses, where he is the main contact. I have had to make up false email addresses just to get him in the system. Is there any good reason for this?

Other than that, I am very happy!

On a Mac, exported my address book contacts to vCard format and continue to an error that reads "Please select a valid CSV file". Is the system down or are there any special tricks to getting the vCard format to work? For reference, I am trying to export quite a few contacts (1000+ to be more specific).
