IDEA: An option to label or tag payments, invoices, etc enabling a profitability per project
It would be great to have an option to label or tag payments, invoices, etc so I can generate a profitability per project view.
At the moment, I use 'rebilling' to mark invoices and payments to a project and leave the unbilled items, well, unbilled, so I can tally costs and do rough profitability calculations on projects, but it's clumsy (and obviously not what rebilling option was designed for).

Good idea, although we'd probably allow you to associate a timeslip or expense with a project and have the further option of rebilling it or not.
Hopefully that should provide what you need, and we're absolutely up for developing those sorts of analyses.

Inappropriate?I agree. Associating bills with projects for profitability analysis, but not rebilling them, is exactly what I would like to do.
