Monthly Profit & Loss chart problem
Hi,
I think the new Monthly Profit & Loss chart seems to be wrong (at least for me).
Looking at 07-08 for month of Mar 08 - my sales are down as £150 - whereas I actually invoiced £5840 (and your help suggestions ... "FreeAgent uses what's called 'accrual' accounting - so invoices are included from the invoice date, not from when the invoice is paid"). Any thoughts?
Cheers
Chris

Inappropriate?@coldpie,
Thanks for the heads-up - we have indeed found an issue with the way we are storing the results of these calculations and will have this fixed before the end of today.
Sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime.

Inappropriate?@coldpie,
As we've just discussed via email, it sounds like it's all looking good now.

Inappropriate?Related issue - why are my totals for May highlighted and yet April and June are faded?
I’m unconcerned

Inappropriate?Hi there
A month column is greyed out to indicate that the data for that month might not be complete. This could be because that month falls outside the selected accounting period (e.g. Accounting Year 2008/09), or if the start of that month is prior to the FreeAgent Start Date, or if we're still in that month (e.g. June 08).
In your case, June is greyed out because we're still in that month and April is probably grey because of the actual accounting dates for this period. This could be the case if, for example, your First Accounting Year End Date (Settings > Accounting Dates) is not an end-of-month date.
I’m happy
